According to the National Bank of Georgia, the number of payment cards in circulation in Georgia reached 570 087 as of February 2023 while the number of debit cards in circulation stood at   7 380 023 million.

Compared to last year, the number of debit cards have increased, but the amount of credit cards has decreased. In February 2022, in total 585,326 credit cards and 6,274,957 debit cards were in circulation.

145 082 credit cards are VISA, 96 521 units are Mastercard, 328 484 - others.

Debit cards are distributed  as follows: VISA - 2 289 985 units, Mastercard - 3 974 313 units, others - 1 115 725.
