According to the Ministry of Justice, from February 24, 2022 to February 8, 2023, 15,917 citizens of the Russian Federation were registered in Georgia as individual entrepreneurs.

According to a report prepared by Transparency International Georgia, "Georgia's Economic Dependence on Russia: The Impact of the Russian-Ukrainian War", up to 15,000 Russian companies were registered in Georgia in 2022 that is 16-fold more than in 2021.

According to the report, a total of 22,400 Russian companies are registered in Georgia, 66% of them are registered in Ukraine since the beginning of the war.

95% of companies were registered last year as individual entrepreneurs. This indicates that some Russian citizens moved to Georgia for a long time to live and do business.  

95% of Russian companies registered in 2022 are individual entrepreneurs. The share of individual entrepreneurs among Russian companies registered in 2021 was drastically less - 51%.
