According to a report prepared by Transparency International Georgia, "Georgia's Economic Dependence on Russia: The Impact of the Russian-Ukrainian War", up to 15,000 Russian companies were registered in Georgia in 2022 that is 16-fold more than in 2021.
According to the report, a total of 22,400 Russian companies are registered in Georgia, 66% of them are registered in Ukraine since the beginning of the war.
