The district court of Zugdidi found Badri Esebua, who stands accused of the robbery of the Bank of Georgia, guilty of illegal purchase and possession of firearms and ammunition.

The said decision was announced by the judge of Zugdidi district court, Shota Bichia.

The judge sentenced Badri Esebua to 4 years in prison.

The defense demanded a minimum sentence based on the honest confession of the accused, which the prosecution did not agree with.

The Prosecutor's Office filed another charge, purchase and possession of firearms and ammunition, against Badri Esebua on February 9.
