The return on equity (ROE) for the banking sector is 25.6%.

Bank of Georgia outperforms  TBC Bank in terms of return on capital and takes the first place.

Terabank is the 3rd in the ranking of the largest banks in terms of equity capital followed by  ProCredit Bank, a member of the German banking group, and Basisbank, a member of Chinese conglomerate “Hualing Group”.

As of November 1, the top seven banks by  ROE are as follows:

Bank of Georgia - 32.87%

TBC Bank - 30.48%

Terra Bank - 20.88%

Procredit Bank - 18.44%

Base Bank - 17.94%

Liberty Bank - 16.85%

Credo - 14.47%
