Seeking to raise additional funds, Basisbank decided to augment its capital. General Meeting of Shareholders made a decision on December 1 of this year to issue 1,034,254 (one million thirty-four thousand two hundred and fifty-four) ordinary shares.

The shares issued by Basisbank were fully purchased by its principal shareholder Xinjiang Hualing Industry and Trade (Group) Co., Ltd. for GEL 27 mln. As a result, regulatory capital of Basisbank exceeded GEL 430 million.

This new investment is expected to support the development of the Bank, help achieve strategic goals and offer additional financial resources for business. Basisbank's holding also includes insurance and leasing companies. Total assets of Basisbank now exceed GEL 3 billion," said David Tsaava, General Director of Basisbank.
