The construction of the ropeway connecting Rustaveli Avenue and Mtatsminda Park will be completed by the end of this year, - Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said at the meeting of the city government.

According to Kaladze, the cable car will cover one route in four minutes and serve approximately 1,100 passengers per hour.

 "We started the project in 2021. I think it will be one of the business  cards of our city when the project is finished. It will be possible to get to Rustaveli Avenue from Mtatsminda and vice versa in four minutes. The ropeway will serve approximately 1,100 passengers per hour that  is very important. The works will be completed at the end of 2023", Kakha Kaladze notes.

21 gondolas will run on the Rustaveli - Mtatsminda cableway . The average speed of covering the road will be 4.07 minutes,  the length of the route will be 845.55 meters.
