According to the government's decision, the ban on wheat export was lifted ahead of schedule. The restriction is no longer valid from today- the Ministry of Agriculture states.
The export of wheat and barley from Georgia was prohibited from July 4, 2022 to July 4, 2023 by the decision of the government.
The decree reads that the decision was made due to the global food security issue.
