The lari has gained its value  via Bloomberg trading platform. The trading started at 2.6136 per one dollar.

At today trading via Bloomberg trading platform one dollar stood at GEL 2.6088 by 3 pm.

According to the exchange rate set by the National Bank yesterday, the national currency stood at USD 1/GEL 2.6196. The lower rate was last recorded on October 9, 2018, when one US dollar stood at  2.6184 GEL.

The exchange rate in commercial banks is relatively different. In TBC branches one US dollar can be bought for GEL 2.6550, and sold for GEL  2.5650. In Bank of Georgia service centers one dollar can be bought for GEL 2.6550 and sold for GEL 2.5550.
