External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to $4 783.8 million in January-March 2023, 22.1 percent higher year-on-year.

The value of export increased by 24.7 percent reaching $1 461.5 million, while the import increased by 21.0 percent and amounted to $3 322.3 million.

The trade deficit equaled $1 860.8 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 38.9 percent.
