In 2022, the United Kingdom was the biggest investor in Georgia.

According to the National Statistical Office, the share of the three largest investor countries in the total volume of foreign direct investment in 2022 (preliminary data) amounted to 48.0 percent.

The shares of major foreign direct investor countries in FDI stand as follows: The United Kingdom (21.4 percent), Spain (18.3 percent) and United States (8.2 percent).

The top ten also includes the Netherlands, Ireland, China, Turkey, Czech Republic, Russia, Japan.
