"Mountain resorts received only one third of the income they were supposed to receive for the whole winter season, we worked only 18 days" - Miranda Esakia, co-founder of the Mountain Resorts Business Association, told "Commersant". According to Esakia, the season has failed due to bad weather, including in March with its warm weathers and rains. Resorts should start preparing for the next season when they will face the same challenges.

"If in January we were supposed to receive 100,000 tourists, in fact, we received only 10,000 tourists. Lots of tourists arrived in the resort only when snow covered the resort on February 10. Instead of working at full capacity at least 70 days out of 120, we had only 18 favorable days.
