In January-February, taxes paid by gambling business to the budget decreased by 12% . According to the state treasury data, GEL 1,874,465.50  came  to the consolidated budget from taxes on gambling business in two months of the current year against GEL 2 124 796.21 in the same period of last year.

Tax revenue from gaming machines increased by 160%. In January-February 2023, tax revenue from gaming machines stood at GEL 808,734.00 while in two months of 2022 at GEL 310,800.10.

Tax revenues received from the incentive lottery decreased by 81%. In two months of 2023, the budget received GEL 335 137.50 from the incentive lottery against GEL 1 779 946.11 in the same period of 2022.
