In January-March 2023, the import of lubricants amounted to 5.01 thousand tons that is 0.47 thousand tons or 10.3% more compared to the same period of last year (4.54 thousand tons), the Union of Oil Products Importers reports.

"In 3 months of the current year, the largest volume of lubricants was imported from Turkey - 1.30 thousand tons that is 25.9% of all imports. Followed by Iran - 0.94 thousand tons (18.8%); Germany - 0.62 thousand tons (12.4%), Russia - 0.27 thousand tons (5.4%) and others.

In January-March 2023, aviation oil imports stood at 25.4 thousand that is 0.1 thousand tons or 0.4% more compared to the same period of 2023 (25.3 thousand tons).

In 3 months of the current year, 54.7% (13.9 thousand tons) of aviation oil import was carried out from Turkmenistan, 33.1% (8.4 thousand tons) - from Greece, 12.2% (3.1 thousand tons) - from Azerbaijan", the statement reads.
