According to the National Bank of Georgia, the number of payment cards in circulation in Georgia reached 570,000 in 2022 while the number of debit cards in circulation stood at 7.25 million.
147,498 credit cards are VISA, 98,963 units are Mastercard, 201,531 units are local cards, 122,778 - others.
Debit cards are distributed as follows: VISA - 2,267,310 units, Mastercard - 3,947,255 units, local cards - 409,533, others - 622,559.
