Non-cash spending,the number of transactions through TBC bank channels up in February 2023 - TBC Capital

In February 2023, annual growth rate for both, total non-cash spending and the number of transactions through TBC bank channels increased, reaching 20% and 29%, respectively.
 

In February 2023, non-cash spending on groceries, through TBC Bank’s channels, moderately increased, with growth totaling 34%. The average spending remained constant, with average transaction volume amounting to GEL 17.


In February 2023, non-cash spending in hotels, through TBC Bank’s channels, marginally increased and totaled 35% compared to 2022. Average spending per transaction in hotels decreased from GEL 329 to 304.

In February 2023, non-cash spending in restaurants, through TBC Bank’s channels, slightly decreased and growth rate dropped  to 60%. Average spending per transaction in restaurants  posted relatively low level compared to previous month, amounting to GEL 28 per transaction.




Non-cash spending on entertainment, through TBC bank’s channels, moderately improved and annual growth amounted to 76%.


In February 2023, annual growth of non-cash spending on apparel & accessories, through TBC Bank’s channels, improved and amounted to 40%, while average transaction volume posted a small decrease, amounting  to GEL 95.



Non-cash spending in other retail stores, through TBC Bank’s channels, notably increased and annual growth totaled 25%.
