At today trading via Bloomberg trading platform the lari gained  some of its value.  The trading started at  2.5262 per one dollar, later the lari soared  to GEL 2.5250 by 1 pm.

According to the exchange rate set by the National Bank,  the  national currency stood at USD 1/GEL 2.5299.

The exchange rate in commercial banks is relatively different. In TBC branches one US dollar can be bought for GEL 2.5700 and sold for GEL 2.4800. In Bank of Georgia service centers one dollar can be bought for GEL 2.5740  and sold for GEL 2.4760.
