The opening of the multifunctional
space "Vake Plaza" on Chavchavadze Avenue#72a was postponed until
June 2020.
According to the project manager Rusudan Chergoleishvili, the construction has been resumed and works are underway.
“The total investment in the project totaled $ 20 million. The project is being carried out by “Vake Plaza” company. Anyone can rent and buy the space, the price per m2 is quite acceptable and ranges within $ 22-24, ”Chergoleishvili explains.
The building that was brought to a standstill two years ago will be an 11-storey multi-functional complex Vake Plaza with a total area of 22,000 m2 while 11,000 m2 will be allocated for 4 floors of a special underground parking.
The multifunctional complex will be designed for Class A office spaces, will have conference and presentation rooms, a catering facility and a movie theater, with a parking space to accommodate about 200-250 cars. Trade objects are not planned to be placed in the building.
Recall that litigation between a former project partner and current owner lasted for about five years. As soon as the litigation was over, works were resumed.
As reported, former Defense Minister David Kezerashvili was one of the building's owners.
