In February, Georgia received a total of $ 372.3 million ( GEL985.5 million) from remittances that is 103.0% ($188.9 million) more than in February 2022. The Russian Federation accounts for 50% of the total money tranfers.

Russia tops the list of the countries in terms of remittance volumes . The central bank reports that $ 187.34 million were transferred from Russia in February that is 753.72% more year-to-year.

97.2% of remittances from abroad to Georgia account for 21 largest partner countries, from each of them money transfers exceeded $ 1 million in February. Last February the above states accounted for 91.6% of all remittances to Georgia .
