According to the Deposit Insurance Agency of Georgia, as of March 31, 2023, the volume of insured deposits of individuals stood at GEL 5,290,202,708, including deposits worth GEL 2,746,333,276 in national currency, the equivalent of GEL 2,543,869,432 in foreign currency, the legal entities deposits made GEL 544,856,791(in the currency- GEL 385,955,765, equivalent to GEL 158,901,026 in foreign currency).

As of March 31, 2023, the total amount of deposits in 14 commercial banks operating in Georgia reaches GEL 44,551,358,254. Including, natural persons deposits stood at GEL 23,282,307,406 (in national currency - GEL 7,130,571,277, in foreign currency - GEL 16,151,736,129 equivalent), legal entities deposits made GEL 21,269,050,848 (in national currency — GEL 13,194,165,085 - GEL 80,878,87 5,762 equivalent).
